PermitLogic AI ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you use the PermitLogic AI mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service").

Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly to us, including:

• Account information such as your name and email address when you create an account
• Project information including project descriptions, locations, and responses to questions
• Payment information processed securely through Apple's App Store or RevenueCat — we do not store your payment details
• Communications with Sully, our AI assistant, which are processed to generate responses

We also collect information automatically when you use the Service:

• Usage data such as features used and time spent in the app
• Device information such as device type, operating system, and app version
• Log data including IP address, access times, and pages viewed

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
• Process your requests and generate AI responses through Sully
• Send you technical notices and support messages
• Monitor and analyze usage patterns to improve the Service
• Detect and prevent fraudulent or unauthorized activity

AI processing

PermitLogic AI uses Claude, an AI assistant developed by Anthropic, to power Sully's responses. Your conversations with Sully are sent to Anthropic's API for processing. Anthropic's privacy policy governs their use of this data. We do not use your conversation data to train AI models.

We also use Tavily's search API to retrieve local building code information. Location and project type information may be sent to Tavily to perform these searches.

How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share your information only in the following circumstances:

• With service providers who assist us in operating the Service, including Anthropic (AI processing), Tavily (code search), Supabase (database), and RevenueCat (payments)
• If required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of PermitLogic AI, our users, or others
• In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with appropriate notice to users

Data retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may delete your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at hello@permitlogicai.com.

Data security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

Children's privacy

The Service is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete that information promptly.

Your rights
